i soon arrived in xanthos. one of the many ancient sites along the coast and stopped for a second breakfast. later that day i arrived in patara where i skipped the ruins and went straight to the beach. i had a bath in the sea, the first one in asia and the last one for quite some time…
it is a huge beach and so the few people who came out that day looked a bit lost. the water wasn’t that warm to stay in for hours but nice for a quick swim.
